role: architectural internship

My internship consisted of a daily practice, meticulously hand-drawing construction documents for architects: Zaha Hadid, Tadao Ando, Frank Gehry, and Álvaro Siza, as build works of the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein. Hand-drafting the details of how such architectural masterworks would be constructed, creates an intimate knowledge of each building and the variation of thought processes behind their unique design. It was during this period that I visited Le Corbusier’s Ronchamp cathedral for the first time. Sketching this building on site, I was able to trace the lines and contours of Gehy’s inspiration.
